The United Republic of Tanzania became the twenty second (22) African Union Member State to sign the Treaty of establishment of the African Medical Agency. Tanzania's signature to the treaty was appended by H.E. Ambassador Liberata Mulamula (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation on 10 August 2021 at the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
