H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary General of the AfCFTA undertakes an official visit to the United Republic of Tanzania

H.E. Wamkele Mene. Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat based in Accra, Ghana is on a four-day official visit to the United Republic of Tanzania from 27^th-30^th June, 2021.

While in Tanzania, H.E. Wamkene will pay a courtesy call to H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania and hold official meetings with the Ministers responsible for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Industry, Investment and Agriculture and representatives of Tanzania Private Sector.

He will also deliver a Public Lecture on the AfCFTA at the University of Dar es Salaam and hold meetings with Senior Government Officials of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.
